Some article thing
Okay, so reading this got me so mad randomly. I think out of this entire thing I agree with one point, "There will be some cities like Detriot that in a real depression could just become ghost towns." But other than that, it made me mad. I think we should be looking at the history of the 1920's which lead up to the 1930s because we could be getting hints of a depression and not even know it. We need to open our eyes and look around and see what could happen in the future. Alot of families are already just getting by, and some people are at the lowest point. And in the article it says about how we have government help, which is true but it doesn't last. I know from personal experiance that they can't help you forever and when the help ends, it ends. I don't like this article at allll!

october 25th
I think that American's should have the right to decide whether or not they want to go to war. I don't think it's fair for some people to give up their freedom in time of need. Unless people aren't signing up, that's when a draft should be put in place, but it should have a strict criteria. People shouldn't have to give up their life in time of America's needs, unless they are willing too.

Cuba Sinks U.S.S Maine Over 400 Killed
Last night, the U.S.S Maine was attacked by the Spanish in Cuba. Over 400 people were blown up with the battleship. As the ship floated in Cuba's Harbor, the Spanish planned a sneak attack to get back at the Americans for getting involved with Cuba's battle for independence. All the ship was doing was protecting our investments, and that made us the bad guy! The United States' government is holding a meeting to declare war on Spain. We're going to take as many lives as they did to us. You sank my battleship, now it's time we sank yours.
